Today was a rainy day. We attended the Walk for Lupus Now in DC this morning in the pouring rain. Came home to more rain and then it rained some more. Dispite the dismal day, the flowers my neighbor and I planted last fall have come back to life this spring. A sunny spot in the rain :)
We tried oatmeal for the first time tonight. Not bad. He wore more than he ate, but that was to be expected. We gave him his own spoon to avoid the power struggle for it, but he was more interested in eating the spoon than the oatmeal. We'll wait a few days and try agian.
The whole cupcake thing might just be a fad, but I am loving it! I can't say enough about Georgetown Cupcakes. So YUMMY!! I haven't had a cupcake flavor that wasn't tasty yet. On that note, I'm off to eat one now...
It's spring in Annapolis. The sun is shining, flowers are blooming, thermostat rising (all the way to 85 today!), but what bring such joy to others brings on the sniffles and sneezes to others (mainly Brian :).
We have a bird feeder on our deck that attacts Cardinals, Blue Jays, Doves and even Woodpeckers. It also attracts squirrels. Bailey does not like "SQ's" so she chases them away. Here she is on patrol and spies one approaching the bird feeder...the stalking begins...
Bradley turned 21 weeks old on Saturday. He's starting to hold his bottle all by himself. And when he's done, he throws it to the ground - All finished Mommy!
Since Bradley has joined our family, Bailey has felt a little neglected. So we did a little photo shoot just for her. Too bad the response I got was more "leave me alone - I'm trying to sleep here!" than "Yay! I love the camera!"
Bradley is 20 weeks old today! Time is flying by. He is celebrating by taking a morning nap in his swing. 10 more pounds, and he will be too big for it! Gotta get lots of use out of it now :)
I am a full-time working rookie mom enjoying life with my babies, human and canine. We started this blog to share stories and pictures with our friends and family. Check back often for updates!
